Why I’m Thankful

In the spirit of Thanksgiving, I wanted to make a post on why I am thankful. I am thankful for a lot of reasons. I could probably make this super long but I am going to keep it short.

1. My Family

My family has been there for me through everything. Without them, I don’t think I could handle this journey.

2. My Doctors

I can see how much progress I’ve made since last Thanksgiving and that’s because of the team of doctors that have been on my side. They haven’t ever given up on me and I haven’t given up on them. Although it maybe slow, we are making lots of progress.

3. My Friends

I have some really good friends. Even though I may not socialize much right now, they do check on me and see what’s going on.

4. My Dog

She is a part of my family but she deserves her own little post. She’s the cutest and best thing that has happened to me. She continues to give me love no matter what shape I am in and is always by my side.

5. My Health

This is a really weird one but I am thankful. Things could be a lot worse and I could be in worse shape but I am really making progress. It’s really taught me a lot of good life lessons that most people don’t get to learn on their own. We also made progress today! I have thyroid disease which has been contributing to my horrible horrible fatigue and my massive weight gain. Hopefully now we can get that in check.

6. My Treatments

It has taken such a long time to get them and to see the progress on tests and symptom wise is so amazing. I hope that I can continue to keep getting better although it may not always seem like I am.

7. My Car!

Soooo, I got a brand new car. I haven’t been in it yet but it is a beauty. I was stuck driving a car with no air and no locks and several lights on for 4 months.

8. My School

I have been so lucky to get through school with all of these. It’s been a rough road but I know that it will mean something in the future. Hopefully I’ll be able to graduate in the spring!

What are you guys thankful for?! Have a great Thanksgiving!
