Life Update!

Hey Guys!!

I finally got back to my happy place and nothing was damaged. I am so so grateful that the hurricane didn’t hit us as bad as we thought it was going to. This week has taken a turn for the better. This weekend I got reunited with a bunch of my friends. It was so great to see everyone again, and I have been feeling pretty good lately! I start up classes again tomorrow, and I am looking forward to getting back on a schedule. I know people love having off school and everything but it’s so much better to be on a regular schedule. Also, I have been pretty vegan for 2 days. It has been EXTREMELY hard because for some reason I keep craving pizza and different things with cheese. I think it will get better as time goes on and I’m finding really cool foods to try which I will probably write an article on. I am going to start working out again this week as well! I have found that doing the bike in the gym has been very rewarding. Thank you to all of you who have checked in on me and offered help! I am super grateful for all of you!!

  1. Glad your things at home were ok and you made it through the storm. So many struggled to even get anywhere with all the traffic jams.

    Enjoy your new semester. They do make vegan cheeses. Sesame tahini tastes great if you can eat Sesame seeds. Nutritional yeast, which is flaky and yellow, has a great cheesy taste if you can eat yeast.

  2. I AM so glad you are okay and nothing happened! Vegan can be pretty hard. Your body reacts to the changes by craving exactly what you are not eating. It takes 21 days to make a habit stick so you can do it!
