I Became a Morning Person?

Yes, you’re reading this right. When I was younger I could NEVER get up..When I got sick I could never stay up or get up. I was always so tired. Always. My Mom used to think I just was sad and didn’t get up before we knew I had autoimmune disease. I, however, knew that wasn’t the case. I still have a lot of fatigue which means I am not fully doing better yet. I sometimes feel like I am dragging and got no sleep when I really got over 8 hours.

But, ever since starting treatment, I became a morning person. I never ever thought I would say this but I LOVE waking up and eating breakfast and working out. It’s so crazy. I now usually get up around the hours of 6-9 am; make some coffee and go workout. I feel so refreshed and fulfilled after my morning routine.

Are you a morning or a night person? Comment below.

  1. I’m a night owl and always have been. I even work 2nd shift to accommodate. It’s a little after noon, and I just woke up. I stay up until around 4 am, so I have time after work to just relax while it’s quiet and most people are asleep.

  2. I am a morning person. Whether my medication is at the right levels or not, once I am awake anywhere from 3am – 6am, there is definitely no returning to sleepy land for me no matter what time I go to bed.
Needless to say, I find myself falling asleep in the middle of a favourite TV show of an evening. But, once I make the effort to haul my backside off the couch and crawl into my comfortable bed, I am wide awake and find it takes hours to fall asleep.
Drives me bananas – but hopefully I will find my way to healthy soon

  3. I am, whatever I need to be, person. Woken up at 5 am and be energetic the entire day. Next week, I wake up at 11 am or 12 pm, feeling lethargic. Then I can sleep until 11 pm and be energetic throughout the night. It really all depends. 😀
