How to: Bake your Face

I’m thinking of doing a “how to” series. So consider this the first one! Baking has always been something I wanted to learn. The most common person I’ve seen it on is Kim Kardashian.

Baking can act as a highlight. It is meant to brighten your face and conceal creases. The term “baking” literally means putting the powder on your face and allowing it to “bake” in.

The baking powder I used is Huda Beauty Easy Bake in “Cupcake.” You can get it HERE

I also used the Huda Beauty Bake and Blend Dual-Ended Setting Complexion Brush. You can get that HERE

STEP 1: Take the “Bake” side of the complexion brush and dip into the powder

STEP 2: Apply generous amounts under your eyes and above your jaw line. 


STEP 3: Let it sit for 5-10 mins. You can apply your other make up (think eyes or contour, you should already have your primer, foundation, translucent powder, and bronzer on)

STEP 4: Take the blend side of the brush and blend it in to your skin. Your results should look something like this:
