What Every Girl Deserves to Hear

Posted on April 13, 2019April 14, 2019 by Sydney Rose

Self confidence is hard. I still have issues with it. I think most people do. I was bullied when I was younger. I was a chubby child, and I went to sit down at lunch in 3rd grade and this boy said “this table has a weight limit.” This has ALWAYS stuck with me. Crazy how something that happened so young could make such an impact. Then as I got older girls were just mean. There were cliques and I was never part of them. I would float around from the losers and the populars but I never had a space. I was always in my own spot, which was nice but sucked at the same time. I never felt like I had a true spot. This made me think of things that weren’t regularly said to me, but I deserved to hear as much as you do. So here are a few things I think you girls deserve to hear:

1. You are “Good” Enough!

Who said you have to live up to a certain standard whether it be the way you look, dress, or act! You should feel good with who you are and how you look. Don’t let anyone tell you for ANY reason that you are not good enough. If they do, shake it off and move on! You don’t need those negative people in your life!

2. You are BEAUTIFUL!

We all don’t like certain things on our bodies, but that’s what makes us, us. Our body is something we should always show love. So what you don’t look like Kendall Jenner?! Who says that you have to be a certain size or have a certain face??? Everyone is unique in their looks. Embrace what your mama has given you!

3. You are Important!

I believe that everyone is important. No one’s life doesn’t matter (unless they’re like evil, which I’ll let you define in your own way). But just because your not the next multi-millionaire or you aren’t going to Harvard doesn’t mean you can’t do just as awesome things in your life!

4. You Have a Purpose!

I fully believe everybody is brought to this earth with a purpose. You might not know it yet, but you do have a purpose. I still am not completely sure what mine is, but as time goes on I believe you will figure it out. Live your life to the fullest in the meantime though.

5. You are Special!

Everyone is special in their own way. No one is the same!

6. Know Your Worth

This is so important. Don’t let yourself get mistreated in any way! You are worth so much!

Hope this can make an impact on your day! This is for everyone reading this! Not a lot of people get to hear these things this often, but I wanted to remind you in case you didn’t know!

Love your mindset, really inspiring! It’s so easy to forget, and instead become overcome with negative thoughts.

I’m sorry that you past through all that. 😢 I don’t remember having a great childhood, with many friends either. I guess self confidence comes with time and you arrive at a moment in your life where you don’t care as much of what people say. Also, I started to appreciate my alone time and not many people are invited next to me. 😊💕

Nice article to remind ourselves of that we are worthy and should not take others words too seriously.

Liking yourself isn’t easy when you base yourself only by comparison to others. Look inside and see who you really are. If you don’t like what you see, change it. How you feel about yourself bid reflected in how you appear to others. Your bearing, facial expressions, tone of voice and sparkle in your eyes come from inside you.

    IT IS ALL ABOUT ATTITUDE

I am so sorry you went through all that… I had a stammering problem in my childhood and I really had a hard time during my school days due to that… I think we all need to be a little emphatic towards each other… isn’t it?
