So I’ve stuck to my plan strictly. It’s all about calories in and calories out. I’ve been getting infusions this week so I don’t expect to lose any weight from last week.
I probably won’t lose weight this week because I’m on prednisone (steroids) the whole week. I kind of read up on how they work and basically they make you retain more water and store fat differently. I’m not discouraged at all though.
I still have the positive mindset that I can take off as much weight as I WANT to because it’s my body and I want to have a little bit of control over it.
So far I’m still about 8.5 pounds down from my start which was more like three weeks ago but I started the program around two weeks ago. I expect that once the steroids leave my system I’ll lose even more.
I’ve really learned to make better choices and eat less. My problem was that my medicines were making me so hungry and I wasn’t moving. I thank goodness got a new medication that’s done a good job of suppressing my hunger. I notice that a lot of my clothes are less tight, and jackets zip up looser. It’s all about changing your habits and your thoughts! Strive to be the best person you can become.
